Mark is a partly qualified Chartered Accountant and trained with Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG) before spending 8 years in the IT Industry as a major account manager with Digital Equipment Company (DEC), managing the computer needs for Thorn EMI and WH Smith.

He joined the Financial Services industry in 1988 and within 15 months successfully implemented a management buyout of Citimark. Over the last 20 years he has developed a high quality client bank of entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals and gained exposure to a vast array of businesses. Mark has also assisted many clients in aligning their personal objectives with that of their business.

He has been instrumental in raising private equity for a mid range hotel group and various businesses in the recycling and renewable energy space.

Two of these projects have been established as joint ventures with a specialist fund management group to launch both retail and institutional funds as a method to raise equity.

Mark is also Shareholding Director of a number of commercial property backed businesses and continues to act as a Non Executive Director for a number of companies, providing them with strategic input for expansion and diversification in preparation for either a trade sale or flotation.

He and his team are now poised to lead Citimark into a period of rapid expansion where the company will look to double its size over the next 2 years.
